Britney Spears is speaking out about the leaked track that hit the Internet January 6, telling us we won’t have to wait long to hear the real deal — it’s hitting the scene on January 11.

On January 11, Britney Spears fans will get quite a treat when the singer’s new single, Hold It Against Me, hits the airwaves. But it might not be the first time they hear it as a leaked version of the demo recently surfaced — don’t get used to that version though, the new one might sound a bit different.

Britney Spears used Twitter to address rumors of the leaked demo for her new single, Hold It Against Me. “Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that’s good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday,” she tweeted in regards to the track produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

There you have it — new music in the form of an energy-blasting single coming from Spears January 11! Hold It Against Me is the kick-off single from the singer’s new album set to debut in March. Don’t worry we haven’t forgotten its name — it’s still untitled.

Dr. Luke also chimed in on the leaked version of Hold It Against Me, assuring fans that the club song’s final product is on fire. “That version of Hold It Against Me is really really old… it don’t sound like that anymore… it’s WAY better,” Dr. Luke revealed on Twitter.
