Golden Globe 2011 fashion trends

Trendsetting celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Natalie Portman and Scarlet Johansson lit up the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globes. From baby bumps to trendy hairstyles, check out the hottest looks from the red carpet.

Baby bumps

Pregnant celebrities like Natalie Portman and 30 Rock’s Jane Krakowski rocked the red carpet, making baby bumps a hot look at the 2011 Golden Globes. Portman wore a strapless pink Viktor & Rolf dress with a sequined red rose, while Krakowski wore a draped one-shoulder silk blue dress in a beautiful shade of blue.

Who wore this trend the best? My vote goes for Krakowski’s elegant, yet sexy look.

Blunt bangs

Sleek and sexy straight hair with eye-framing blunt bangs was all the rage at the 2011 Golden Globes. Everyone from Sandra Bullock to Olivia Wilde to Glee’s Amber Riley were seen sporting this hot look. Who pulled it off best? My vote goes to Tron star Olivia Wilde.

Emerald green

The “it” color of the night was emerald green, with Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Mila Kunis and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss all wearing this beautiful color. Jolie chose a long-sleeved dress, while the other celebs went for a strapless or one-shouldered look. Who wore it best? The stunning Angelina Jolie and Mila Kunis were neck and neck with this one.

Long sleeves

Celebrities kept it covered up at this year’s Golden Globes, with long-sleeved long dresses showing up on everyone from Angelina Jolie (Versace), Leighton Meester (Burberry) and Anne Hathaway (Armani Prive). Who nailed the look? Angelina Jolie (who is also wearing the trendy emerald green) looked amazing, as did Hathaway — although Meester looked a tad frumpy.

Peachy-pink

This feminine pale hue was a hit at the Golden Globes, with A-listers like Lea Michele (Oscar de la Renta), Sandra Bullock (Jenny Packham), Megan Fox (Armani Prive) and Scarlett Johansson (Elie Saab) all choosing this same peachy-pink color. Who wore it best? I loved Bullock’s flowing, beaded dress.
