Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon play forbidden lovers in the new film Water for Elephants. The brand-new poster that’s hit the web gives fans a preview of just how stunningly visual Water for Elephants will be when it hits theater April 22.

The poster depicts Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon as the film’s leading lovers, dramatically embraced in each other’s arms. The onscreen couple oozes period piece exuberance, with Witherspoon perfectly draped in a gorgeous dress with her blonde locks strategically styled in curls. Also in the poster is the film’s antagonist played by Christoph Waltz, who lurks behind the couple.
The poster was released to Access Hollywood on Thursday and the trailer has been hitting the web for weeks.
