Charlie Sheen has agreed to pay the crew of Two and a Half Men for the work they’re missing due to his rehab.
Charlie Sheen must feel guilty that his hard-partying ways have cost his crew cash, because the Two and a Half Men star has agreed to pay for their missed days.
There is one stipulation, however: Charlie will pay one-third of the crew salaries for the downtime if CBS and Warner Bros. agree to pay another one-third.
While that does seem to leave an additional third being shorted, the crew is actually making more cash in the long run — the show will still film a full season, just on an extended schedule. The offer has been made because no one really knows when filming will actually start up again, and mortgage companies don’t accept the Charlie Sheen excuse for not paying them.
While a source close to Charlie Sheen told TMZ the actor says he is ready and willing to go back to work next week, a CBS exec said best case scenario is at the end of the month — and only if Charlie can handle it.
A Warner Bros. rep said only, “We sincerely hope that Charlie’s rehab is going well. We hope that he is healthy in the very near future and we look forward to the return of production of Two and a Half Men.”
