Bruno Mars was dealt a lucky hand after receiving probation for his Las Vegas cocaine arrest.
Bruno Mars got lucky in court Wednesday after a judge granted the Grammy winner probation on a cocaine charge from back in September. The popular singer pleaded guilty to felony possession of cocaine and as part of the deal Mars will be on one year’s probation and pay a $2,000 fine.
Mars will take part in a drug counseling course online and perform 200 hours of community service. An online course seems a bit easy, but we’re happy Mars will be able to just move on from the situation. Provided he complies and keeps his nose out of trouble, the case will be void.
Last September, Mars was arrested and found to be in possession of 2.6 grams of cocaine while at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Fans found his original confusion of how the cocaine got there troubling, but it didn’t stop him from still climbing the charts. As a matter of fact, he recently rocked the Grammy stage with B.o.B and Janelle Monae and his songs have been a part of the Glee catalog.
Do you think it’s time to let Bruno Mars wipe the slate clean and give him another chance or have you already forgotten about his little indiscretion? Tell us what you think.
