Lady Gaga is crossing over into country with her remix of Born This Way.
“The Country Road Version of Born This Way. Produced By: Me + Fernando,” she tweeted.
The song is essentially the same, with a country twang highlighted by the harmonica. The song is slightly slower — and she even switched up the lyrics a little:
“If we want it make it country, baby, it’s okay/’cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way/from London, Paris, Japan, back to U.S.A./I was born on the road, I was born to be brave.”
Lady Gaga may be embracing the country lifestyle, as she was recently spotted in 14-inch custom-made Tony Lama cowboy boots and a black cowboy hat. It reportedly took them more than 500 hours to design and make these cowboy boots!
I wonder if Lady Gaga will perform the country version of Born This Way when she performs in Austin, Texas on April 6.
