Lady Gaga’s new single Judas gets a release date

Alright Little Monsters! Lady Gaga‘s new song Judas will drop April 19.

If you’re a Lady Gaga fan, you know all about Gagavision. If not, they’re a series of videos from the lady herself on YouTube. In the 41st episode, we got some exciting news from Lady Gaga herself. The second single from her album Born This Way, called Judas, will drop April 19.

The video begins with pounding techno music, Gaga getting her makeup done and the words, “Music from Born This Way 5-23-11.”

We also get to check out some dance rehearsals for the Judas video that she co-directed with her creative director, Laurieann Gibson. After a documentary-style look at behind-the-scenes Gaga and the lady dealing with a protester outside her Monster Ball tour, a voice-over announces, “So that concludes Gagavision Number 41. Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin.”

Then we see a message saying, “Judas April 19. If they were not who you were taught they would be, would you still believe?”

Judas is the second single off Born This Way, following the title track. The album drops May 23. Gaga will visit Good Morning America on May 27 to kick off the show’s Summer Concert Series. On May 7, you can check out the premiere of her HBO special filmed at Madison Square Garden this February.

So, are you guys excited for the new single? Are you one of Gaga’s Little Monsters? Let us know what you think!
