New images from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2

Not ready for the Harry Potter franchise to be finished? Me neither. And I couldn’t be more excited for the final film! Well, we’ve got some new images to show you. Check them out below.

I’m a Potter-head. I love the books. I love the films. I still can’t believe that we’re on the final film and all the stars seem to have turned out to be lovely people with not a rehab stint among them. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is one of my most anticipated films of the year and I plan to sob like a child when the final credits roll.

Today we have four shots from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2that first ran in Entertainment Weekly. The first shows Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) (above). Has anyone watched the first film lately? This must be how parents feel when their kids go off to college. It’s hard to imagine that these three little kids are the same people as the young adults we see in the shot. Not sure which scene this is, since the entire second half of the book is action packed, but they sure look intense.

Next up is a shot of the Death Eaters gathered, including the wonderfully horrid Bellatrix Lestrange (Helena Bonham Carter) and Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes). They look worried, don’t they? I’d worry too. You don’t mess with the “Boy who lived.”

In the third shot…ah Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis). God, I love his storyline. The formerly shy and awkward Neville is holding a bloody sword, in the middle of the final battle.

Finally, we have Harry in Bellatrix Lestrange’s Gringotts vault, holding the sword of Godric Gryffindor, climbing over piles of gold and jewels.

Are you guys as excited as I am? Leave us your thoughts below.
