Lady Gaga was the mentor on last night’s American Idol and, true to form, she looked amazingly weird in a black leotard and her new black and blond hairstyle. One thing that stood out — the censored message over Lady Gaga’s heels. Find out how her black Lucite heels got the shaft from American Idol.
Lady Gaga probably did a good job mentoring the contestants on last night’s American Idol, but we were too busy looking at her black Lucite heels to notice!
Producers of the show slapped an Idol logo over each heel to keep the offending stilettos covered — because the Lucite heel was in the shape of male genitalia!
In case you must have a pair of these sexy stilettos, know they will cost you! The provocative pumps are made by the London brand Void of Course and retail for more than $4,500!
“Saw @ladygaga pieces & never quite heard advice like hers before,” tweeted Ryan Seacrest. “Judging from looks on contestants’ faces, neither have they.” We hate to break it to you, Ryan, but that look on their face was not from the advice, but probably from her x-rated heels!
Lady Gaga recently spoke with V magazine on what inspires her fashion choices. “I’m mostly inspired by shapes, and using the body to create iconography,” she says.
“Leather culture and high-street punk fashion. I would say perfecto jackets occupy most of my fashion thoughts.”
Check out a photo of the heels from Void of Course.
Lady Gaga likes to shock and fascinate with her fashion choices (meat dress, anyone?).
Do you think she took it too far with her x-rated heels on American Idol? Or do you think it was silly they were censored?
