Swift replacement for Nancy Grace on Swift Justice

Nancy Grace was swiftly replaced on Swift Justice. Judge Jackie Glass, who presided over O.J. Simpson’s Las Vegas kidnapping and armed robbery trial, will now star on the television series.

Nancy Grace announced yesterday that she will no longer appear on the television show Swift Justice, leaving after just one season. Her reason was simple: The show is relocating from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

“Leaving such a successful show was a tough decision,” Grace said in a statement. “I will miss the California sunshine for now, but I will be back soon.” Fans of Grace won’t have to miss her, as she’ll still appear on her cable show Nancy Grace.

The new Swift Justice judge has already been named. Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass will star on the show. Judge Glass handed down O.J. Simpson’s sentence for kidnapping and robbery in Las Vegas — nine to 33 years — and was known for her courtroom personality during the Simpson trial.

Glass’ clerk told the Associated Press that Glass handed in her resignation on Tuesday. Glass said that she’s honored to take the new gig. “I’ve always admired Nancy Grace and her inherent sense of justice and I’m honored to take her spot behind the podium,” she said in a statement.

What do you think? Will Swift Justice be the same without Nancy Grace?
