Not so sad to see Oprah‘s final episode come and go? You’re in good company with many of our favorite comedians who have stepped up to the opportunity to poke fun at the revered Oprah Winfrey.

Twitter has been abuzz all week with talk of Oprah’s final show. Amongst the oh-so-many claiming a tear in their eye was a speckling of humor — and perhaps jealousy?

Take a look at what some of our top comedians had to say about the hoopla surrounding the last Oprah episode, as rounded up by the Associated Press:

Kevin Nealon: “Apparently Oprah is responsible for life on our planet as we know it.”

Michael Ian Black: “I miss both Oprah and Osama. Is there a way to pair them up for something?”

Joan Rivers: “Oprah Winfrey is so powerful that she had the Rapture postponed until after her final show airs.”

John Hodgman: “It seems so unfair! Without Oprah, how are publishers going to continue their cross-fingers/hope-to-win-the-lottery business plan?”

Paula Poundstone: “Jesus will probably be the surprise guest. She got him started.”

Justin Stangel, co-executive producer of CBS’ Late Show: “What can I say about Oprah that she hasn’t already said about herself?”

David Letterman: “Honest to God, every day, I get out of bed and think: ‘What can I do to suck up to Oprah?'”
