Diddy teaches his crew some manners

Sean Diddy Combs is teaching his hip hop entourage some manners. The music mogul brought in an etiquette expert to teach his peeps how to be proper.

Sean Diddy Combs wants his Bad Boys to at least be a little less bad. The hip hop mogul has hired etiquette expert Dawn Bryan to give lessons to the employees of Diddy’s company Bad Boy Records.

Bryan, the author of The Art of Etiquette, taught the staff such valuable social niceties as the use of dinnerware at formal events, how to hold chopsticks and present a business card in Japan, how to give appropriate business gifts, how to choose wine, hold a wine glass and eat caviar (not at the same time, we assume).

Think such lessons are a waste in today’s society? Think again. Bad Boy Records is a multi-million dollar international business, and acting like a civilized person in a restaurant goes a long way in proving that you — and your company — can be taken seriously.

In fact, Diddy — we’re pretty sure Diddy changed his name back to Diddy now — is so hardcore about his peeps representing the company in a civilized manner that etiquette lessons are now “a protocol for new hires,” a Bad Boy Records rep told the New York Post.
