Last night, So You Think You Can Dance audition finalists sweated it out in Las Vegas. Tonight, SYTYCD announces the season eight top 20! Which 10 guys and 10 girls will survive to dance another day?
Cat Deeley, Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe have traveled to Atlanta, San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City to find the best of the best dancers, with the help of So You Think You Can Danceguest judges Debbie Allen, Robin Antin, Lil C, Tyce Diorio, Jason Gilkison, Toni Redpath and Adam Shankman.
Last night, the contenders fought for a spot in the SYTYCD season eight top 20 and tonight, we find out who made the cut. Then, each finalist gets one more chance to show off their style before the official judging and voting begins next week. In other words, yes, we get to see some dance!
While the top 20 is supposed to be a surprise, Buddy TV got a hold of a spoiler list. SheKnows can’t speak for its accuracy, but word is finalists will include contemporary dancers Melanie Moore, Miranda Maleski, Ryan Ramirez, Ashley Everett and Ricky Jaime; contemporary jazz dancer Missy Morelli; jazz dancer Jordan Casanova; hip-hop dancer Sasha Mallory and ballroom dancers Caitlyn Lawson and Iveta Lukosiute.
Next week, the game is on! SYTYCD goes live on Wednesday, June 15. The contestants get paired up, our fave choreographers get to work with them and the audience gets in on the voting.
So You Think You Can Dance airs tonight, Thursday, June 9, from 8 to 10 p.m. on Fox.
