Audience tattles on Tracy Morgan’s homophobic stand-up act

Audience members at one of Tracy Morgan‘s recent comedy shows aren’t letting the 30 Rock actor get away with what they say was a homophobic-laced stand-up routine.

Tracy Morgan’s homophobic remarks put off one audience member so badly that he took to Facebook to write a note titled, “Why I no longer ‘like’ Tracy Morgan — A MUST READ.”

The audience member alleges Tracy Morgan‘s stand-up routine last Friday was littered with homophobic remarks and jokes. According to the audience member Tracy made the following points, as written in his Facebook note:

• Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay [expletive] was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that Born this Way is [expletive], gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because “God don’t make no mistakes” (referring to God not making someone gay cause that would be a mistake).
• He said that there is no way a woman could love and have sexual desire for another woman, that’s just a woman pretending because she hates a [expletive] man.
• He took time to visit the… bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being [expletive] and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying. He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just… beat those other [expletive] that bully them, not whine about it.
• He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not (he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice) or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N (one word I refuse to use) to death.

Tracy’s remarks were reportedly met with “thunderous cheers” by most of the audience, though the author who describes the incidents above notes that 10 to 15 people walked out. The watchdog group Truth Wins Out is now calling on comedian Tracy Morgan to explain himself.
