Chris Brown has issued a lame non-apologetic mea culpa for the homophobic slurs he hurled at photographers.
Chris Brown was caught on tape using gay slurs to chastise photographers he thought got him in trouble with a meter maid.
“Did ya’ll call them to try and film me?” he yelled. “Ya’ll [expletive] is gay.”
Now, after a day of being yelled at by everyone from gay teens on Twitter to major gay rights organizations who thought they had their hands full with Tracy Morgan’s gay rant, Chris Brown has issued the world’s weakest apology.
On Twitter, Brown wrote, “I have total respect for Gay community and my intention was not to insult anyone in it. #REAL[expletive]”
His intention may not have been to insult the gay community, but it was obviously his intention to insult the photographers by calling them gay, therefore directly implying he thinks “gay” is an insult.
As we reported earlier, this isn’t the first time Chris Brown has used homophobic speech in a very public forum. Last year he hurled gay slurs at Raz-B on Twitter.
How many passes does this guy get?
