Sherri Shepherd‘s weight loss isn’t just about looking good in a wedding dress these days, the talk show co-host is on a mission to get fit and have a baby!
Sherri Shepherd’s wedding dreams involve a svelte figure meant for more than just looking good. The View co-host hopes to soon be pregnant!
The 44-year-old, pictured here with fiance Lamar Sally in June, hopes to soon have a little brother or sister for Jeffrey, her six-year-old son from a previous relationship. Diabetes and fertility struggles (Sherri miscarried Jeffrey’s twin) have plagued the soon-to-be bride in the past.
“I have to lose as much weight as possible for me to be healthy to carry [a baby],” Sherri Shepherd recently told People.
As for her workout routine, she says, “I go at 7 in the morning, four times a week to see my trainer over at the Reebok Club. She’s doing a lot of interval training with me, and these things called suicides. Those are really tough.”
Even the wedding party, who will fulfill their duties at the ceremony this August, is getting a workout. Bridesmaids Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Niecy Nash, Kym Whitley and Nicole Brown recently took part in an all-day dance-training session.
“We just got back from L.A. rehearsing a choreographed dance for eight hours,” Sherri Shepherd says. “Everybody threw out their back. They were tired and bruised!”
