Take a whiff of Taylor Swift’s Wonderstruck perfume and drift down memory lane. The 21-year-old has created her debut fragrance, and it comes as no surprise the inspiration for the scent’s name was found in a song lyric.
“Wearing perfume is such a unique way to create memories,” Taylor Swift explains. “Like songs, a scent can take you back and allow you to relive a moment in time.”

In the process of selecting the name Wonderstruck for her first perfume Taylor Swift looked back on lyrics she wrote for the song Enchanted. She explains, “I wrote the lyric, ‘I’m wonderstruck, blushing all the way home,’ for the song Enchanted about the first time you meet someone.”
Taylor Swift, who has recently had to cancel shows while battling bronchitis, now hopes her scent will become near and dear to you. “A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you. It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.”
Wonderstruck will debut in stores this October. The deep purple bottle is adorned by three gold charms (Moravian star, dove and birdcage) hand-picked by Taylor Swift. Fans, make sure to note the gold embossed 13 on Wonderstruck’s package. (It’s Taylor Swift’s lucky number!)
