Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon are quite the dynamic duo! After last year’s The History of Rap went viral, they entertained crowds last night with Part 2. Watch it here!
Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon’s The History of Rap, in which they performed a medley of rap songs, went viral last year — and they have done it again with The History of Rap: Part 2.
JT was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his new movie, Friends with Benefits, and his three Emmy nominations. Last time he was on the show, he and Jimmy performed The History of Rap. He told the crowd not to expect a remake of their viral hit, with Timberlake insisting, “We can’t do it again!”
Justin and Jimmy then grabbed microphones, jumped on stage and rocked and rapped through five minutes of fun!
With the Roots playing, JT and Jimmy rapped and danced their way through The Breaks (Kurtis Blow), Up in Here (DMX), Insane in the Membrane (Cypress Hill), Hey Ya (Outkast), Eminem, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Nelly, Salt-N-Pepa, Vanilla Ice and even did a little Teach Me How to Dougie.
The duo finished up their set by walking into the cheering audience for Biz Markie’s Just a Friend.
The History of Rap: Part 2 definitely did not disappoint — and, in fact, we are hoping a Part 3 is in the works!
