Oprah has been keeping busy since the end of her iconic afternoon talk show. She started a new network, has taken on a new role as CEO, and now she’s adding a new title to her resume: Teacher.
OWN YOUR LIFE (the oprah class) will feature “new insights and life lessons” from the best of the full 25 years of The Oprah Winfrey Show, according to Oprah.com. Wrapped into the show is an online course viewers can take “for an even more enriching experience.”
“At Oprah‘s core, she is a teacher,” said Sheri Salata, president, OWN. “OWN YOUR LIFE (the oprah class) is the brand we are building at OWN. This will be a signature series along with Rosie’s creative and comedic genius.”
The show will air immediately after The Rosie Show, a new project for Rosie O’Donnell completely different from anything we’ve ever seen her do before.
“With Rosie’s authenticity, paired with Oprah’s remarkable insights from the past 25 years, there will be two hours every day that viewers won’t want to miss,” said Erik Logan, president, OWN.
