Casey Anthony’s lawyers want to keep her out of Orlando

Casey Anthony‘s lawyers say it is far too dangerous for her to return to Orlando, despite a judge’s order.

Earlier this week a judge ordered Casey Anthony to return to Orlando, Florida to complete her probation in a check fraud case — but Anthony’s lawyers say her safety is at risk if she goes anywhere near the town where her murder trial was held.

“We have an issue of safety,” said attorney Jose Baez on Today.

“The last thing we wanna do is put Casey in harm’s way.”

In addition to the safety risk — Anthony and her parents have all received death threats in the wake of Casey’s acquittal on murder charges in the death of her daughter Caylee — Baez says the judge has no basis for the order since the Department of Corrections certified Casey already completed her probation.

In a strange turn of events, the judge in question recused himself from the case at the same time Baez appeared on Today.

Casey Anthony had been MIA since disappearing immediately after her trial, but has been spotted in Ohio where she has relatives.
