Sherri Shepherd is a married woman today! The host of The View tied the knot with Lamar Sally over the weekend.
Here comes the bride! Sherri Shepherd walked down the aisle this weekend to wed TV writer Lamar Sally in a beautiful ceremony that will be televised in September.
Shepherd, who you can watch every weekday morning on The View, wore a custom-made white Rivini gown with a floor-length veil and carried an all-white bouquet for their Chicago celebration.
Her bridesmaids, including Niecy Nash, Yvette Nicole Brown and View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, wore custom gowns by Carmen Marc Valvo.
“Second chances really do happen, and I got mine!” the 44-year-old Shepherd told Life & Style about this, her second marriage. “I’m married now!”
Sherri Shepherd and Lamar Sally got engaged last December after a year-long courtship when he presented her with a three carat princess cut diamond. Her first marriage to comedian Jeff Tarpley ended in 2009; they have a five-year-old son named Jeffrey.
“This man not only loves me, but he adores my son,” Shepherd said of Sally on The View in January. “And my son adores him.”
