Bravo makes decision on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiere date!

After a tango of will they or won’t they keep the Sept. 5 premiere date of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Russell Armstrong’s suicide, Bravo has revealed its decision. Read on to see what they decided.

Bravo is not backing down!

In the wake of the tragic suicide of Taylor Armstrong‘s estranged husband, Russell Armstrong, Bravo has decided to keep the Monday, Sept. 5 premiere date of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Frances Berwick, president of Bravo Media, said, “Bravo will proceed with the Monday, Sept. 5 premiere date of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

Berwick added, “Given that these episodes were filmed months ago, the producers of the show taped a brief interview this week with several of the cast members to introduce the premiere. Reediting of the episodes is still underway.”

The intros by the girls is obviously the scuttlebutt everyone was referring to when it was reported that a special on Russell Armstrong’s suicide was being filmed with cast members.

Real Housewives franchise taking another hit?

Frances Berwick also wanted to make sure everyone knew the Bravo family was giving the Armstrong family the time they need to heal. “Our thoughts continue to be with the Armstrong family during this difficult time,” Berwick offered.

So, it looks like Lisa Vanderpump, Camillle Grammer, Kyle and Kim Richards, Adrienne Maloof and Taylor Armstrong will be back on schedule for the Sept. 5 premiere.

What do you think of Bravo’s decision to go forward with the air date?
