Melanie Brown has given birth to her third child — and third daughter! The baby girl was born Friday morning while her mother laughed through labor.
The birth of Melanie Brown’s baby girl was, in fact, a laughing matter. The third child of Mel B arrived Friday morning while fans of the singer kept tabs on labor developments via Twitter.
On Aug. 31 a very pregnant Melanie Brown tweeted to fans, “The baby will come when it’s good and ready,so for now working as usual to keep my mind off being over due!!”
Thursday Mel B’s discomfort grew. “Can’t sleep arrrhhhh!!!!” she wrote, adding, “Gonna go to my kitchen and eat,that always helps!!!”
In the wee hours of Friday morning news the singer was in labor broke with the short message, “In LA right now it’s 413am.”
“Finally our baby arrives,” Melanie Brown wrote early Friday, announcing baby girl’s birth. “Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed, I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”
Three hours later the mother of daughters Phoenix and Angel from previous relationships added, “I wanna thank you ALL for your beautiful well wishes,it means a lot to me,you guys are the best,I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!”
To husband Stephen Belafonte, father of the newborn baby girl whose name has yet to be released, Mel B wrote, “I didn’t think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey,we have a truly amazing family xxxx”
