Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis in Expendables 2

Ah, the dream team is complete! It seems that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis have just signed deals to take on ”substantial” roles in The Expendables 2. That is a lot of testosterone in one place!

We’ve been hearing rumors about these two joining the cast for some time. We’ve also heard rumors that the Schwarzenegger’s recent ”activities” coming to light might have kept him out of the acting world for a while. Not so!

Now, if you recall, in the original film, which made $224 million worldwide, these veteran action stars appear briefly in a scene as the anonymous Mr. Church (Willis) and rival solider-for-hire Trent Mauser (Schwarzenegger). But fans were clamoring for more. In fact, they’ve been pretty vocal about it.

Well, we’re getting our wish. Schwarzenegger and Willis are expanding their roles, joining Sylvester Stallone in the sequel. Filming will begin in Oct., though Stallone isn’t directing this time. Simon West will helm this one. Original cast members Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews and Jet Li are expected to return and there are rumors about Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

Schwarzenegger is currently filming the action film Last Stand. Willis will film this one before he heads off to film the next Die Hard film.

The Expendables 2 is looking at a release date of Aug. 17, 2012. So, are you guys excited for this one? That’s a lot of man candy in one place. Let us know below.
