Here’s the thing about the Jennifer LopezPapi video — there are lots of papis in it.
A behind-the-scenes sneak peek for the Lopez Papi video was released on RyanSeacrest.com Wednesday and it’s quite a production. There are car crashes, stunts, ensemble dances and hundreds of papis, er, men, seemingly driven to distraction by the sight of Lopez walking down the street.
In the video, men of all shapes and sizes rush after the superstar. They’re jumping over railings, crashing through glass windows and running for dear life to catch up to her.
Oh, Lopez is also seen driving a 2012 Fiat 500 Cabrio, and that drives the papis crazy, too. Look for J.Lo in spots for the Fiat 500 later in the year, according to a release from the car company.
Er, what exactly is a papi for us non-Spanish speakers?
“We use it as a term of endearment, like if you call somebody sweetie or baby,” said Lopez to Seacrest two weeks ago. “A lot of Latino’s call the guy they love papi.”
Hmm, we wonder if Bradley Cooper fits the bill?
