Zoe wants desperately to fit in with her new surroundings and last week’s Founders Day parade was just the beginning.
This week on “Gumbo And Glory,” the newest member of the South will throw herself into a gumbo competition in hopes of showing she can fit into the community — once again. Oh, and she’s hoping it will bring her in a few new patients.

The CW officially describes “Gumbo And Glory” as the following: “Zoe (Rachel Bilson) is determined to win Bluebell’s gumbo contest and prove to everyone that she is a part of the community, which will hopefully help her land some patients. Lavon (Cress Williams) develops a crush on Zoe and Brick’s (Tim Matheson) new receptionist, Didi (guest star XX), but things get a little messy after Lemon (Jaime King) catches wind of the news. Zoe and Brick find themselves having to work together to perform a life-saving surgery.”
