The Sesame StreetYouTube page was attacked by hackers.
Parents seeking a little educational entertainment for their kids Sunday were in for a rude awakening when they discovered that the videos on the Sesame Street YouTube page had been replaced with porn.
A message posted by the hackers alongside the blue videos read, “Who doesn’t like porn kids?”
The content was replaced within 20 minutes by Google, who owns YouTube. “YouTube‘s Community Guidelines prohibit graphic content,” the company said in a statement. “As always, we remove inappropriate material as soon as we are made aware of it.”
“Our channel was compromised and we are presently working with YouTube/Google to restore our original content,” said Sesame Workshop in a statement to CNN. “We always strive to provide age-appropriate content for our viewers and hope to resolve this problem quickly.”
Before the entire channel was taken down, a statement from the hackers appeared on the site reading:
“WHO DOESN’T LOVE PORN KIDS? RIGHT! EVERYONE LOVES IT! IM MREDXWX AND MY PARTNER MRSUICIDER91 ARE HERE TO BRING YOU MANY NICE CONTENT! PLEASE DON’T LET SESAME STREET TO GET THIS ACCOUNT BACK KIDS 🙁 PLEASE…LET ME AND MRSUICIDER91 HAVE IT AND WE GONNA MAKE ALL THE AMERICA HAPPY!”

The YouTube user reported to have written the message denied having any involvement in the incident.
“I did not hack Sesame Street. I am an honest youtuber,” said MREDXWX in a video statement. “I work hard to make quality gameplay videos and most important I respect the community guidelines.”
The Sesame Street YouTube channel is currently not available as the whole mess gets sorted out.
