Okay, we’re going to have Cookie Monster shouting cowabunga in our head for the rest of the day. Poor guy — he was just hungry!
The Sesame Street ditty from Elvis Costello, Cookie Monster and Elmo will probably sound familiar to some of you Costello fans out there.
It’s actually set to the tune of his song (The Angels Wanna Wear My) Red Shoes, but Monster Went and Ate My Red 2 is much more kid-friendly.

The 42nd season of Sesame Street is focusing on incorporating the STEM curriculum, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Before the season kicked off on Sept. 26, PBS revealed that Nicole Kidman, Robin Williams, Amy Adams, Naomi Watts, Mark Ruffalo, Mila Kunis, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Emma Stone would appear.
As you can see, things are just getting underway on “The Street,” so there’s still time to catch all the fun of the 42nd season!
