It looks like another housemate has beaten pal Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino to the punch when it comes to jump-starting their acting career in Hollywood.
Vinny Guadagnino, the seemingly most level-headed Jersey Shore housemate, will be guest-starring in an upcoming episode of 90210. There’s also talk that Guadagnino’s character might be appearing in several future episodes too, in a recurring role.
The reality star turned actor, who is currently on a media blitz promoting the season four finale of MTV’s Jersey Shore, told E! Online, “Actually, I might be doing another one. We’re in discussions for that right now.”
“Listen, any acting that comes my way, I’m taking it. I love it,” he added.
It seems as if the 90210 cast and crew are feeling the love too, having taken in the Jersey boy with open arms during the taping of his first episode in which he plays a big, cocky celebrity who takes Liam (Matt Lanter) under his wing during a trip to Las Vegas.
“It was awesome, a great experience,” Guadagnino said. “The cast and crew, everyone treated me very well.”
The Italian, self-proclaimed Guido doesn’t plan on making 90210 his only pit stop, though. Asked what other television program he would like to make an appearance on, he said True Blood.
“I’m willing,” he said. “If it means being on True Blood, I’ll do whatever it takes. I’ll rip someone’s head off, whatever.”
For now though, the only acting (or non-acting, if you will) that Guadagnino will be doing is with his friends Snooki, Pauly D and the gang during the anticipated season finale of Jersey Shore, which airs this Thursday on MTV at 10/9 central.
