The Vampire Diaries: “Ghost World

The Vampire Diaries is getting downright ghostly. Read on to find out what’s going down now that Mason is back haunting Mystic Falls — and Damon.

Damon ain’t afraid of no ghost — or is he?

Matt made a bad decision on last week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, which set ghost-Vicki off on a mission to kill Elena (Nina Dobrev).

Thankfully, Vicki was sent back to the other world, but she’s not the only ghost Mystic Falls has to worry about.

On this week’s new episode, “Ghost World,” Damon (Ian Somerhalder) deals with one pissed off ghost, Elena tries to use Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) connection to the other side and more ghostly figures pop up during Illumination Night.

Check out a preview of The Vampire Diaries’ new episode “Ghost World,” and then watch the full episode Thursday evening on the CW.

The CW officially describes “Ghost World” as the following: “As Mystic Falls prepares to celebrate the traditional Illumination Night, the town is invaded by spirits of the dead. After a particularly violent encounter with an angry spirit, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) asks Bonnie (Kat Graham) to find the reason behind the ghosts’ surprising power. Elena (Nina Dobrev) convinces Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) to use his connection to the other side to help her find a new way to reach Stefan (Paul Wesley), leading Jeremy to a terrible choice. Finally, Alaric (Matt Davis) discovers a long-hidden clue to the past.”

What will Alaric discover? What is Mason up to? And which spirits of the dead are going to haunt Mystic Falls?

You’re going to have to tune in on Thursday night to find out all the answers. We also can’t wait to get more dish on Mikael and Klaus, but for now, it’s all about the ghosts.

What are your thoughts about this season of The Vampire Diaries? Is it living up to the hype?
