Kim Kardashian might not be saying much about her upcoming divorce, but her sisters sure are! Find out how they’re defending their sister.
Kim Kardashian shocked no one — except her husband, Kris Humphries — when she filed for divorce on Monday morning.
“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best,” she told SheKnows in a statement.
The sad part? Humphries apparently didn’t know about it and wanted to work things out.
“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work,” he also told SheKnows in a statement.
Kim hasn’t said anything else since the announcement. Instead, she’s jetted off to Australia to promote the Kardashian Kollection, leaving her sisters and brother, Rob Kardashian, to defend her choice.
“Our sister is going through a difficult time but we’re a close family and are sticking together like always,” Kourtney Kardashian tweeted. “We appreciate everyone’s kindness and support. @KimKardashian, we love you.”
Khloe Kardashian lashed out at those who criticized her sister for getting a divorce just 72 days after they wed.
“Reading some these comments r [sic] so hurtful. Im grateful 4our fans who understand & r being respectful. Hate is disgusting. Love is everything,” she tweeted.
Rob was put on the hot seat backstage at Dancing With the Stars when he was asked about his sister’s divorce.
“My sister is obviously going through a lot and we’re obviously very supportive of whatever decision she makes,” he said. “We’re just here as her family just to be with her and be on her side for whatever.”
We know one thing: Kardashians stick together, no matter what!
