Private Practice sneak peek: “If I Hadn’t Forgotten…”

Forget fantasy football: It’s time for fantasy sperm ball on tonight’s Private Practice. Plus Amelia and Charlotte are plagued by addiction drama.

Addison (Kate Walsh) searches for a sperm donor, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) falls further into the bottle and Charlotte (Kadee Strickland) confronts painful memories of a horrible tragedy on Private Practice: “If I Hadn’t Forgotten.”

Addison is over the moon when Dr. Jake  (Benjamin Bratt) harvests four eggs for her and begins the hunt for a donor. Needless to say, however, the upper crust braniac takes the sperm vetting to a whole new level, getting the guys involved in the process.

Addie finally ‘fessed up’ to Sam (Taye Diggs) about starting the in vitro process, but how will he really feel about her using a stranger’s sperm?

The baby-making seems to be the only light topic in tonight’s episode. After last week’s Private Practice saw Amelia’s friend Michelle survive the assisted suicide debacle, and then kill herself anyway, Amelia reaches new boozy lows. Trapped under the heavy weight of guilt, anger and mourning, she parties up a storm, waking up with a man she can’t remember. Even worse, she slipped back into doing drugs again.

Faced with Amelia’s decline, Charlotte once again has to cut her privileges, while also dealing with her own painful memories of a horrible tragedy. SheKnows suspects those memories tie into the episodes title, “If I Hadn’t Forgotten…”

New dad Cooper isn’t sure how to proceed when he realizes his patient is being drugged by his parents. They claim to be treating his ADHD, but Coop isn’t sure the kid even has the disorder.

Meanwhile, Pete’s trust issues continue to get in the way as he and Violet (Amy Brenneman) attempt to repairing their fragile relationship.
