Spend Thanksgiving with Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga is coming home for the holidays. The pop superstar wants you and your family to tune in to her latest TV special: A Very Gaga Thanksgiving!

Lady Gaga is an accomplished singer, fashionista, philanthropist and now Thanksgiving host. The Grammy winner is following in the footsteps of pop stars like Mariah Carey and Jessica Simpson, and hosting her own holiday special: Get ready for A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.

Later this month, ABC will air A Very Gaga Thanksgiving, which will feature a behind the scenes look at the singer’s private life. According to People, Gaga will perform eight songs including “Marry the Night,” “Yoü and I,” “The Edge of Glory,” “White Christmas” and “Lady and the Tramp” with Tony Bennett. Instead of a large arena with raging fans, Gaga will perform an intimate set for family and close friends.

The special will also include a sit down interview between Lady Gaga and Katie Couric. The anchor praises the singer and claims the special will show her in a different light. “We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon. This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers,” says Couric. “She will impress you, delight you and surprise you.”

What type of surprises are in store? Lady Gaga goes back to her roots. She takes a camera crew to her alma mater Sacred Heart Catholic School ( in New York ), where she visits a group of young fans. She also reveals her domestic side when she steps into the kitchen to make one of her favorite dishes — deep-fried turkey and waffles. Who knew Gaga could cook?

The 90-minute special: A Very Gaga Thanksgiving airs Nov. 24 on ABC.
