With the semifinals of Dancing with the Stars just days away, we thought it would be a good time to break down the final four.
It’s down to the final four on Dancing with the Stars and at this point, no one is a lock to walk away with the mirrorball trophy.
J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and Hope Solo — is this who you expected to be competing in the Dancing with the Stars season 13 semifinals?

Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars delivered a few shocking eliminations with the exit of Kristin Cavallari and David Arquette, but are the semifinals that shocking? Yes, on the Hope Solo front, no on the others.
The reason we deem it “anybody’s game” is because there has been a shift in momentum over the past few weeks.

Let’s look at Ricki Lake and Derek Hough first. This couple wowed us right out of the gate with their technical and creative skills.
The past few weeks, however, they’ve been dancing a straight line. There’s been no excitement. We expect her to come out and have beautiful “shapes” and a flair for losing herself in the dance — this has all been said before and now we, and the judges, want more.
Len Goodman was the first to admit that he’s hesitant to pull out his 10 paddle for her at this point because he wants better “footwork.” This shifted the power right over to the other star, J.R. Martinez.
J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff have had a few so-so dances but they’ve managed to continually wow the judges. So much so, they got two perfect 30s this past week.
The reason we don’t consider J.R. a lock to win is because of the few wonky dances he’s given us.
He now needs consistency, which is something Rob Kardashian is starting to show.
Cheryl Burke had her work cut out for her in training Rob Kardashian, but we’ve watched him get better and better every week. This type of competitor is someone to beware of.
Rob Kardashian moves up a peg each week without taking a step back. It’s safe to say he won’t be going backward.
Take this past week for example: His instant dance wasn’t perfect but the rehearsed number put him right up there with the leaders.
This leads us to Hope Solo. She couldn’t muster up a judges’ compliment the first few weeks. Then there was the Maks Chmerkovskiy controversy. That moment seemed to wake both her and the judges up.

She pulled out her best set of scores this week and came out like a little dynamo. There’s always a dark horse and soccer star Hope Solo could be it.
Out of the final four, whom do you think is going to give the best semifinals performance Monday (Nov. 14) night?
