Amy Adams loves her muffin top

Amy Adams says she has a muffin top since giving birth to her daughter Aviana — and she’s okay with that.

Don’t sweat the small stuff, Amy Adams says in the latest issue of InStyle — and her muffin top is small stuff.

The 37-year-old star of The Muppets says that since giving birth to her now 18-month-old daughter, Aviana, her priorities have totally changed — and that means if she has a little extra cushion around her waist, that’s okay.

“I read about these actresses who get on a stationary bike two weeks after giving birth and I’m like, ‘What? Where did you push your baby out of?'” Adams told InStyle. “Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that’s okay right now.”

“I have to trust that I can prioritize my family and myself while still finding the energy and focus for my work,” she said. “And I believe I can. I know I can.”

Adams also says that she is far from the perfect mother, but like all moms she does her best.

“I’m definitely not one of those women who make it look easy. I’m always running late — and look, there’s guacamole on my purse!” she said.

“But I’m more patient than I ever thought I would be, and I’m not so hard on myself anymore.”

One thing she definitely makes time for? Date nights with her partner Darren Le Gallo.

“[They include] a lot of food and maybe a glass of wine,” Adams said. “We’re always like, ‘It’s 11:30! Woo-hoo! We’re crazy!'”

As for another baby, that is definitely on the agenda, despite having yet to tie the knot with Le Gallo.

“I’ll say to Darren, ‘What do you think of May?’ and he’ll say, ‘May. Ha, ha. You just let me know.’ I just can’t decide!”

“I am putting more pressure on myself now that we have Avi. I’ll figure it out soon,” she said.
