Breaking Dawn is getting good word of mouth, but chances are the initial Twi-hard box office crush won’t last. Thanksgiving may bring in another healthy addition, but nothing like the mad rush of the opening,,

For those keeping count, all the films of The Twilight Saga have banked over a $1 billion in the international market, to date, with Twilight‘s haul at around $200 million, New Moon‘s at around $416 million and Eclipse’s edging up to $400 million.
Happy Feet Two and the rest of the box office riff raff
All the Bella, Edward and Jacob love meant trouble for the rest of the box office competition, especially Happy Feet Two.
Why SheKnows thinks Happy Feet Two will put a dance in your step >>
The animated sequel opened at almost 50 percent lower than the 2006 original. Whether or not Twilight takes a fall Thanksgiving weekend, Happy Feet Two will have to contend with new family-friendly releases The Muppets, Arthur Christmas and Hugo.
There wasn’t much box office action for the rest of the riff raff, either. Immortals, Jack and Jill and Puss in Boots barely broke $10 million to close out the top five, while Tower Heist, J. Edgar, A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas, In Time and Paranormal Activity 3 sputtered into the bottom five.
One limited release film to keep a watch on is George Clooney’s The Descendants. The dramedy, which is based on the novel by Kaui Hart Hemmings and also stars Judy Greer, Matthew Lillard and Shailene Woodley, made quite a commotion, generated good buzz and a decent bank, while only showing in 29 theaters.
