Tibet House US is holding its ninth annual auction with the proceeds to go toward preserving and promoting the culture of Tibet. The online auction features great items to bid on including a set visit to Boardwalk Empire, Fashion Week trip with Petra Nemcova and more!

How would you like to visit the Brooklyn set of Boardwalk Empire and check out Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt and Vincent Piazza hard at work? Or go to Fashion Week with Petra Nemcova? What about a yoga session with Russell Simmons? The Tibet House US is holding its ninth annual benefit auction, which will be held exclusively online through the charity auction site charitybuzz, and they are offering these cool items and more!

“We’re thrilled to be teaming up with charitybuzz for our ninth annual benefit auction,” says President of Tibet House US, Dr. Robert Thurman. “By going online only, we will be able to offer these incredible auction items to bidders across the world, whose contributions will help us to fulfill Tibet House US’ mission of preserving and promoting the endangered culture of Tibet.”

How does it work? Visit charitybuzz from now until Dec. 13,  2011 to bid on luxury goods, exotic vacations and celebrity experiences.

In addition to the above mentioned prizes, other cool items include a walk-on role in David O. Russell’s (The Fighter, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy) next film, as well as a meet and greet with Iggy Pop and The Stooges after a concert in California. You can also bid on VIP tickets to Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival and 2012 Tribeca Film Festival — and even bid on a two week internship at Rolling Stone!

“Tibet House is offering hundreds of incredible experiences to charitybuzz’s 60,000 international bidders, as well as the organization’s many loyal supporters,” says Coppy Holzman, CEO and co-founder of Charity Buzz. “We’re excited to partner with Tibet House for their largest online auction yet and expect to raise a significant amount to fund Tibet House’s innovative cultural programs.”
