Jenny McCarthy is on the hunt for a “man’s man

Jenny McCarthy is ready to find love with a “man’s man” — and she is going on Match.com to find it!

You would think Jenny McCarthy would have a line of men waiting to date her, but the gorgeous actress said she is having a hard time finding Mr. Right and she has decided to go on Match.com to find him. The former Playboy model, 39, told Access Hollywood that she is fed up with trying to find men in L.A.

“It’s tough to find a man’s man. I’m from Chicago. I’m from the South Side, where guys eat meat and potatoes. They don’t know what [being] a vegetarian means,” she said. “They’re a guy through and through. Out here, they want to borrow my makeup and concealer. I want to bring a little bit of importing into my life hopefully and look for guys outside of LA.”

McCarthy said that she didn’t make her profile obvious on Match.com: She is using an alias and her profile picture wouldn’t be immediately obvious — although let’s hope she is not using her 211-pound pregnancy photo she recently tweeted! She did reveal, however, that on her profile she “checked the men I like between 35 to 48.”

What else is she looking for in a man, besides not being from LA where the “guys are like chicks?”

“I don’t care if they have a big nose. I don’t care if they’re bald,” she said. “Just really sweet and who’s a perfect reflection of who I am now. They have to have a job. I’d like them to at least be able to buy dinners and stuff like that. That is important.”

McCarthy dated Jim Carrey for five years before breaking up in 2010 and was most recently linked with sports agent Paul Krepelka, before splitting earlier this year.

She also talked about the split of her friends Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. “I wish them both well. I know them both, and they’re very sweet,” she said. “Sometimes I think relationships are only supposed to last a limited time and then move on to the next. I bow out gracefully, rather than what my parents did, which is stay in it for too long and you’re suffering. This way, you bow out quick and you say thank you and respect each other on the way out.”
