Many authors are now connecting with fans and readers on Facebook. We’ve found five great authors worth hitting “Like”. Share with us — which authors are you fans of on social media?

1

Kristin Hannah

A lawyer turned writer and bestselling author of many novels, Kristin Hannah’s latest, Night Road in paperback and this month’s new Home Front, are emotionally complex must-reads full of wonderfully developed characters. Hannah’s Facebook page is an equally wonderful resource for fans — or future fans. Hannah is a frequent visitor, even asking her readers for advice on the right age for a child to have a cell phone.

2

Michelle Moran

With fabulous historical novels like Cleopatra’s Daughter and Madame Tussaud (which was recently optioned for a miniseries) under her belt, it’s no wonder one of Moran’s fans volunteered to create her Facebook page. Interesting tidbits from her info section: Moran is a former volunteer archaeologist and world traveler (she’s been everywhere from Zimbabwe to India).

3

Elizabeth Eulberg

Eulberg is the author of young adult (YA) fiction with substance and the woman who made me believe teen books can, in fact, appeal to the adult population. Read her fun and engaging Facebook page for posts like “What I Have in Common with Kelly Clarkson” and more.

4

Julie Klam

Klam’s Facebook page is as touching and sometimes heart wrenching as her books: You Had Me at Woof and her newest, Love at First Bark. Pet lovers will keep coming back for articles like “How Saving Dogs Can Sometimes Help You Save Yourself” and videos of laboratory dogs taking their first steps outside.

5

Sarah Jio

Jio burst into the literary scene with The Violets of March, a gorgeous tale of love, passion, jealousy and murder. She is a mom to three young sons, blogs about health and fitness for Glamour and has written hundreds of articles for magazines like Marie Claire and Seventeen.

Amid the flurry of activity, this super woman has had the time to pen her second book, The Bungalow, and make daily posts on her Facebook page.
