I live in a constant state of chaos and decay, rife with lost keys and double booked days. For the past three years, I have resolved to grow an organizational skill. Even a small one would be a huge step up for me. But I have yet to be able to muster up even a half. So this year, I am focusing on accomplishing a single specific task. Before January is over, I resolve to clean out the garage. That’s it. I will know I have accomplished the goal when I am able to park at least one car inside of it. Perhaps in the course of completing this resolution, I will accidentally stumble into having an organizational skill, but I am not holding my breath. Parking under a roof is the true extent of my 2012 ambitions.
