Justin Bieber’s grandparents recovering after car crash

Bruce and Diane Dale, Justin Bieber‘s grandparents, received a scare when their SUV rolled over in a crash. Bieber’s fans take to Twitter to show their support.

The holidays are turning out to be very eventful for Justin Bieber, but on Tuesday they became eventful for all the wrong reasons. Bieber’s maternal grandparents, Bruce and Diane Dale, were involved in a car crash near their home in Stratford, Ontario.

Diane was unhurt but Bruce broke four ribs, according to the Toronto Star.

“My parents got into a car accident today,” tweeted Biebs’ mom, Pattie Mallette. “They flipped into a ditch & totaled the car but thank God they are alive! My dad has broken ribs. Plz pray 4 him 4 quick healing! Count your blessings & forgive ur parents always. U never know what tomorrow holds!!!”

The couple’s SUV hit icy roads and fell into a ditch, according to the report.

“The vehicle rolled in a ditch and hit some shrubbery and small trees. The vehicle ended up back on its wheels but it made a complete roll,” said Kees Wijnands of the Ontario Provincial Police. “The vehicle was completely demolished, and the two occupants were OK.”

Bruce was treated at a hospital and released later in the day.

Bieber’s fans took to Twitter to express their sympathy for the GrandBiebs.

“We love Bruce and Diane, they’re Justin’s family and they mean so much to us Beliebers,” tweeted one fan.

“You say Beliebers are obsessive for trending We Love Bruce And Diane, I say we have Big Hearts,” tweeted another.

Prior to Tuesday, Biebs made holiday headlines when he gave a childhood friend a Ford Mustang convertible for Christmas and the Children’s Wish Foundation a check for $500,000 during a concert in Toronto.

He has not commented on the accident.
