Zoe Saldana moves on with Bradley Cooper!?

by

Sorry ladies, People magazine’s reigning “Sexiest Man Alive” is no longer on the market. Hangover hunk Bradley Cooper is reportedly dating his The Words co-star Zoe Saldana — who recently called off an engagement to her longtime boyfriend.

In a Tinseltown case of art imitating life, the rumor mill is atwitter with whispers that Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana, who appear as lovers in the upcoming film The Words, have grown surprisingly close off camera.

In fact, the pair are reportedly dating.

Ever since Cooper called it quits with actress Renée Zellweger earlier this year, People magazine’s 2011 “Sexiest Man Alive” has been romantically linked to a slew of screen sirens. Most notably, soon-to-be three-time divorcée Jennifer Lopez.

(Think it’s safe to assume that Brad has a thing for Latinas bred on the gritty streets of New York City?)

But the most recent target of such rumors is Saldana, who announced in November that she was separating from her longtime fiancé, Keith Britton. The stunner “amicably separated” from Britton after 11 years of dating. Saldana, 33, and Britton, 35, revealed their engagement in June 2010.

Last May, Star magazine scooped that Zoe was quietly battling financial troubles and a bout with depression that followed her starring role in James Cameron’s record-setting blockbuster Avatar. Even the prospect of walking down the aisle with Keith couldn’t bring Zoe out of her funk, according to those in-the-know.

The Big Apple-born big screen beauty has been much happier since hooking up with Cooper, if E! News snoops are to be believed.

Zoe and Bradley have been telling friends and family that they’re an item and “they’re extremely happy about it,” spywitnesses say.

“They are totally dating,” another source chimed in.

Cooper and Saldana were spotted at a Manhattan nightclub together earlier this week. They plan to go skiing together in the Rockies over New Year’s weekend.

Look for the alleged new twosome when they join Olivia Wilde in the box office thriller The Words. The film — about an aspiring writer who claims another man’s work as his own — is slated to hit theaters in 2012.
