Listen up, Pop Fans, a legendary diva needs your good vibes. Mariah Carey is asking for prayers after her husband, TV and radio personality Nick Cannon, was hospitalized in Aspen this week with “minor kidney failure.”
Nick Cannon’s kidneys have taken an impromptu vacation.
The America’s Got Talent host and New York radio personality is recovering in an undisclosed hospital outside Aspen after suffering “mild kidney failure” during a holiday getaway to the Colorado rockies.
Mr. Mariah Carey, 31, appeared weak as he posed for a snapshot with his superstar wife.
“Please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover from a mild kidney failure,” she tweeted a few hours ago.
A worried Carey, 41, uploaded a photo of herself with a hat-clad Cannon from inside his hospital room.
“This is us in the hospital — role reversal; Last year it was me attached to the machines (after having dem babies) and Nick was there with me through it, and now here we are,” the powerhouse wrote on her Official Website Tuesday.
“We’re trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances, but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful,” Mariah added.
“We’re doing OK but we’re stranded in Aspen. I know, we could be in a lot worse places, but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK. I’m not trying to make light out of the situation because it’s a serious moment that’s very tough on all of us so please keep us and our family in your prayers. LYM.”

In April, Nick and Mariah celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary by becoming parents to fraternal twins, Monroe and Moroccan (aka “Dem Babies”).
First-time pop Nick was so nervous he had to be guided to the maternity ward by a nurse after he went to the wrong department.
“Nick was very nervous and Mariah was completely calm. Mariah thought it was another soft labor and Nick was driving her to the hospital and she very calm and the music was blasting,” Mariah’s longtime rep Cindy Berger told the Associated Press.
“When they walked into the hospital, [Nick] was going the wrong way and they nurse redirected them to go the maternity ward and I said to her, ‘That’s right out of I Love Lucy,’ and she laughed.”
The new parents fittingly played Carey’s hit song “We Belong Together” shortly after the twins’ arrival.
