Casey Anthony resurfaces in bizarre viral video

She’s back! Casey Anthony, who was declared not guilty of killing her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, has resurfaced in a video diary that leaked onto the Interwebs early Thursday.

Casey Anthony, arguably the most hated woman in America since Angelina Jolie, has resurfaced in a bizarre online video that is quickly making the rounds online.

The Florida native, 25, has remained out of the public eye since she was acquitted on charges of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in July. Caylee was found dead in a wooded area of Central Florida in 2008.

To the surprise and outrage of many legal pundits and millions of Americans who had watched her six-week trial live on television, Casey waited more than a month to report Caylee missing. During that time, she got a tattoo and spent nights on end partying around Orlando.

Anthony ultimately blamed the toddler’s death on a swimming accident.

Last we heard, Casey had been hiding out in Ohio.

Now, we’re getting our first look at the new Casey, with short, blonde hair and glasses. In the video diary, recorded in October, Casey discusses being “here” until her probation is over.

In the four minutes of footage, Casey seems relaxed as she talks about being a mother again — this time to a dog.

“Now I… in some ways… have someone to talk to even when I am by myself, so I am not bothering the poor dog… who I have adopted and I love,” she says.

Casey believes good fortune is headed her way in the new year.

“It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven’t changed,” according to Casey. “But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way. I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better.”

In the clip — reportedly taped on Oct.13, 2011 — Casey adds, “I’m extremely excited… that I’ll be able to Skype and obviously keep a video log… and that I have something that I can finally call mine. It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to call something mine.”

Tattling tipsters tell People magazine that the person rambling in this new video is definitely the real Casey Anthony.

“She is desperate to get her story out,” says one source. “She thought this would be the best way to do it. Unfiltered, in her own words.”

No word on who leaked Casey’s video diary — but the footage may not be the first of its kind.

“This is the first of many and I’m looking forward to this,” Anthony says. “It’s a little scary, because I hate being on camera. But I need to conquer that fear at some point and this is a good start.”

Shortly after her acquittal, Anthony received the dubious “honor” of being dubbed the most hated woman in America in a poll conducted by the California-based E-Poll Market Research.

According to 94 percent of those polled, Anthony was more disliked than “Octomom” Nadya Suleman, fellow accused O.J. Simpson and socialite Paris Hilton. E-Poll’s celebrity research for the first week of August revealed Casey was also considered “creepy” by 57 percent of those questioned and “cold” by 60 percent of respondents.

Anthony’s probation ends in February.
