Life is not all glamour for a Hollywood star — even when they vacation. My Week with Marilyn actress Michelle Williams had a decidedly unglam experience in Mexico over the holidays from which she’s still recovering!
Seems Williams and pals decided to go horseback riding, but it wasn’t the pokey sightseeing tour she thought it would be.

“I thought it was going to be one of those slow ambles through the hills, and you take a lot of photos and take in the beautiful scenery,” she told Jay Leno on her Tonight Show appearance Thursday night. “We went down ravines; we went trekking. It was an eight-hour horseback ride.”
“I’m still a little sore,” she said.
“I likened it to being piggy-backed by a drunk person,” Williams continued, “who has no personal investment in you and will throw you at any time to save themselves.”

The worst part? When her guide wanted to take a commemorative photo on the edge of a cliff.
“He said, ‘I promise you there’s no such thing as a suicidal horse.'”
All’s well that ends well: Williams is still with us.
