Madge moles: Madonna staffers suspected in security breach

Federal investigators suspect that someone employed by pop star Madonna is responsible for the illegal leaks of several copyrighted images and recordings belonging to the “Material Girl.”

Mutiny on the S.S. Madonna!

Madonna is hot on the trail of sneaky staff members who have been selling music, vids and — shock and horror — un-photoshopped snapshots of the “Material Girl” behind her back.

The nerve!

The saga began just before Christmas, when a Spanish fan was caught releasing tracks from Madge’s upcoming album, set for release in March. A demo of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Love,” surfaced online in November.

The culprit behind the breach has since been arrested, but the issue is much more serious than one tech-savvy mega-fan, celebrity informants tell The Sun.

“There’s a much bigger picture. The source of these leaks come[s] from within Madonna’s camp. Single tracks have been exchanging hands for well over $1,000. Hundreds of hours of Madonna footage have been obtained illegally for tens of thousands of dollars.”

The culprits are also suspected of leaking those embarrassing images from Madge’s Dolce & Gabbana campaign. The pop luminary, 53, appeared in several advertisements for the high-end Italian fashion brand. But she was left shamefaced after a series of embarrassing unedited images from the brand’s Fall 2010 print campaign leaked to the Interwebs.

The black-and-white images showed the “Lucky Star” hit-maker posing as a saucy housewife — without the benefit of digital retouching. The Material Mom appeared weather-beaten and tired in the pics. Her wrinkled hands and arms were covered in bulging veins.

Sun squeals say federal investigators are working overtime to nab those involved in the scandal before Madonna’s performance at next month’s Super Bowl Halftime Show.
