Emma Stone is heading to the small screen. The Hollywood “it girl” has landed a guest spot on NBC’s 30 Rock. The actress will rub elbows with fellow funny ladies Jane Krakowski and Tina Fey.
Emma Stone is everywhere. After winning the box office and our hearts with last summer’s The Help, she’s ready to lighten up. The actress will make a guest appearance on NBC’s veteran comedy,30 Rock.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Stone will appear on the Jan. 26 episode and will be one of three guest stars. She’ll be joined by Saturday Night Live‘s Andy Samberg and America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon.
What’s with all the star power? 30 Rock regular Jenna (Jane Krakowski) snags a role in a new rom-com called Martin Luther King Day. The film is “produced” by the same folks who brought us Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
Stone, Samberg and Cannon will appear alongside Jenna in the trailer for the film.
This season of 30 Rock will be chock-full of familiar faces including James Marsden, Mary Steenburgen, Will Arnett, Denise Richards, Kelsey Grammer and Kristen Schaal. The show kicks off its sixth season this Thursday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
As for Stone, she has two films scheduled for release in 2012. The highly anticipated comic book movie The Amazing Spider-Man hits theaters July 3, while the period crime drama The Gangster Squad opens Oct. 19.
She’s also attached to star in the upcoming comedy Little White Corvette, where she’ll play a drug dealer. According to Deadline, the film centers on “a nerdy guy and his wild older sister who travel to Miami to try and sell a million-dollar stash of ’70s cocaine they found in the trunk of their late father’s car.” Well, that sounds fun.
Stone’s future is looking brighter than ever!
