Is Beyoncé ready for her first post-baby performance already? The songstress with a work ethic almost as enviable as her “Bootylicious” bod gave birth over the weekend. But she’s hoping she’ll be back in fighting form just in time to take the stage at the Feb. 12 Grammy night ceremony in Los Angeles.
Beyoncé could be on course to give Ryan Seacrest a run for his title as the “Hardest-Working Person in Show Business:” Less than a week after giving birth to her first child, the “Halo” hit-maker is reportedly considering delivering her first post-baby performance at next month’s 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
Nothing’s set in stone, but we hear Blue Ivy’s mommy is hoping she’ll be able to take the stage at the Staples Center for the Feb. 12 Grammys telecast.
“Knowing Beyoncé, I bet she’ll be able to do it,” a longtime associate of the megastar mom yapped to The Chicago Sun-Times this week.

Bey isn’t the only Grammy nominee who may been returning to the stage after an extended absence. English soul-stirrer Adele, sidelined by vocal cord issues since November, is allegedly in chats to open this year’s show.
Beyoncé, who already has 16 Grammys gracing her mantle, released her most recent album, 4, in June. She’s up for two gongs at the star-studded prize-giving: Best Long Form Video (“I Am… World Tour”) and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration (“Party” with Andre 3000).
Meanwhile, Mama Bey is getting settled into parenthood.
Beyoncé and her hubby Jay-Z left the hospital with their newborn daughter, Blue Ivy, on Tuesday. The couple departed Manhattan’s Lenox Hill Hospital in the early hours of the morning — toting their tot, who was born at the Upper East Side facility on Saturday night.
“It was precise, very military-like. Immediately, security personnel began leaving the hospital,” an onlooker told The New York Daily News.
The 2012 Grammy Awards will take place Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. CBS will air the live ceremony between 8 -11:30 p.m. ET/PT.
