Splitsville for Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama?

It looks like Demi Lovato is single again. The former Disney starlet has reportedly split from That ’70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama.

Demi Lovato, 19, is lacing the Twitterverse with pessimistic proverbs about love and relationships after reportedly calling it quits with 31-year-old playboy Wilmer Valderrama.

The Interwebs are alive with whispers that the sometimes unstable teen star and her beau have hit the skids.

On Tuesday, Us Weekly squeals revealed that the pair “are no longer hooking up.”

Demi first turned to Wilmer for support after her split with Camp Rock 2 co-star Joe Jonas in 2010. The duo never officially confirmed that they were an item.

The first hints of trouble surfaced in a series of updates to Demi’s Twitter feed that spread across the blogosphere Tuesday afternoon.

“A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left,” the “Skyscraper” songstress tweeted, quoting Marilyn Monroe.

A short time later, Lovato wrote, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man.”

Well, that doesn’t sound bitter at all!

The former Disney actress eventually tweeted a link to a news article about her breakup with Wilmer — apparently confirming the rumors.

This isn’t the first time Demi and Wilmer have reportedly parted company. The exes allegedly split briefly last July,  after about a year of dating.

The couple’s age difference was blamed for the strife between the pair, according to reports at the time. Both Demi and Wilmer felt the dozen years separating them in age would make a lasting relationship too difficult to sustain.

“The age difference meant they were in completely different place in their lives,” an unnamed source close to the couple told The New York Post.

Demi hit back, tweeting, “There are so many crazy rumors flying around. Things didn’t work out well but we remain friends.”

The most recent split rumors come just a few months after Demi allegedly moved into Wilmer’s Los Angeles bachelor pad.

“Demi’s keeping her home in the L.A. Valley, but she’s pretty much moving into Wilmer’s place across town,” a Demi snitch told NW magazine in November. “She’s young, but she’s very mature for her age and is looking to settle down fairly soon.”
