While the couple has historically been notoriously private about their family life, even making their home in France to escape the harsh glare of the American paparazzi, Paradis would frequently appear with him at film premieres and award shows. That seems to be no more.

A source told People the move was “weird and pretty clear: You’re in town and you don’t go to the premiere of your husband’s film? One which he starred in, produced?”

Paradis also skipped the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last year and was a no-show at last weekend’s Golden Globe Awards.

The pair also has a home in Los Angeles but are rarely spotted around town together, raising even more questions.
“My sense is that this is a couple which hasn’t existed for two years,” said the source.
“They are both very attached to their children and things could work out,” another source told the magazine, “but they have both changed — a lot.”
